IWTA Awards Highlights — Rapid 24-Hour Edit with AI-Generated Visual Enhancements

This 1-minute highlights video for the ITWA Awards was created under an extremely tight 24-hour turnaround, using raw event footage provided by an outside videography team.

The storyboard/script supplied by the client did not match the footage — several key shots and visual elements were missing entirely. To meet the deadline and deliver a polished final output, I developed an AI-assisted creative strategy using:

🧩 My Responsibilities

1. Editor (Full Assembly Under 24 Hours)

  • Built a complete 1-minute highlight reel from scratch

  • Selected the best usable shots from unfamiliar raw footage

  • Reconstructed the intended narrative despite missing storyboard elements

  • Ensured smooth pacing, event flow, and celebratory tone

2. AI Content Creator (Missing Footage Reconstruction)

When essential shots weren’t filmed, I generated them using AI:

  • Nano Banana: event atmosphere B-roll

  • Veo 3.1: cinematic visuals of the award trophy

  • Photoshop: retouching, composition fixes, and stylized overlays

This hybrid workflow allowed me to fill production gaps seamlessly.

3. Motion Graphics (After Effects)

  • Clean, minimal lower thirds

  • Animated title sequences

  • Subtle transitions

  • Futuristic overlays to elevate the event feel

4. Visual Problem Solving

I reorganized the storyboard to match available material:

  • Replaced missing scenes with AI visuals

  • Reframed narrative beats to maintain coherence

  • Used dynamic cuts and upbeat pacing to compensate for limited angles

5. Final Mastering

  • Color correction for mismatched footage

  • Sound stabilization

  • Deliverables exported in 16:9 and 9:16 formats
